Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

The short, honest answers to what people ask before they start using Warnvo. If something's missing, we'll add it.

Getting started.

Five questions

Warnvo reads bills, letters, contracts, and other documents that have something wrong with them — and writes your response. You forward a medical bill, a collection letter, a shady charge, or a contract you don't trust to [email protected], and the right specialist reads it against the law that applies.

You get back a law-citing response letter you can review, edit, and send. That's the whole thing.

Three options. Forward the document to [email protected] from any email you use — it lands in your Warnvo inbox automatically. Or drag-and-drop a PDF, image, or screenshot in your dashboard. Or take a photo with your phone — the mobile upload handles that too.

Medical bills, debt collection letters, hotel and travel charges, contractor invoices, scam emails, phishing texts, insurance EOBs, service contracts, subscription agreements, and more. Eleven specialists cover different domains.

About 90 seconds for most documents. Complex multi-page contracts can take up to 3 minutes. You'll see real-time status as ShieldEngine™ works — no waiting on a spinner.

No. That's the whole point. Your specialist cites the statute, the regulation, or the state law that applies — so the response you send is grounded in real rules, not vague complaints.

How ShieldEngine™ works.

Four questions

ShieldEngine™ is Warnvo's document review engine. It combines domain-specific rule engines (for things like FDCPA-violation detection, CMS medical code benchmarking, and contractor-invoice math) with language models for gray-area judgment. The rule engines catch the black-and-white violations. The language models read the nuance.

Different domains need different expertise. A medical bill specialist reads CMS reference rates. A debt specialist knows FDCPA subsections. A real estate specialist catches what's missing from a closing disclosure. Routing each document to the right domain-trained specialist produces better findings than asking one general-purpose model to know everything.

ReplyShield™ takes over. When the other side writes back, forward the reply to [email protected]. ShieldEngine™ reads it, identifies the tactics they're using, and drafts your next response. Two inboxes, one team, you're covered either way. ReplyShield™ is in beta — unlimited on Pro Business, 15 follow-ups per month on Pro.

The responses cite real statutes, regulations, and case law. ShieldEngine™ errs on the side of citing fewer things with high confidence over many things with low confidence. But we're not a law firm and this isn't legal advice — for high-stakes matters (lawsuits, major contract disputes, criminal issues), consult an attorney. Warnvo is designed to handle the vast majority of everyday bills, letters, and contracts that don't warrant a lawyer's time but still deserve a real response.

Pricing & billing.

Four questions

Free: 2 scans per month, 1 ReplyShield™ follow-up per month.
Pro ($19.99/mo): 50 scans per month, 15 ReplyShield™ follow-ups, add-on scans at $1.99 each.
Pro Business ($99/mo): 250 scans per month, unlimited ReplyShield™ follow-ups, client folders, bulk upload, white-label letter templates.

On Pro, you can buy additional scans at $1.99 each. No subscription bump, no upsell — you just top up when you need more. On Free, you wait until the month resets or upgrade to Pro. Your unused scans don't roll over.

Yes. One click in billing. You keep access through the end of your billing period and don't get charged again. No retention calls, no "wait — here's 40% off," nothing like that.

Yes — annual plans get 2 months free (pay for 10, use 12). Available on both Pro and Pro Business. Switch between monthly and annual anytime in settings.

Privacy & legal.

Four questions

No. Warnvo is not a law firm. ShieldEngine™ is not a lawyer. Nothing we produce constitutes legal advice. We're software that reads documents and drafts responses grounded in statute — you decide whether to send them, edit them, or take them to an actual lawyer.

Documents are encrypted at rest and in transit. We use them to process your scan and generate your response — nothing else. We don't train models on your documents. We don't sell or share your data. You can delete any document from your dashboard at any time, and deleted documents are purged from our systems within 30 days.

Warnvo is designed for the everyday documents that don't warrant a lawyer — a wrong medical bill, a collection letter citing rules that don't apply, a hotel charge you didn't agree to. For active lawsuits, criminal matters, or complex multi-party disputes, consult a licensed attorney. Many Pro Business customers use Warnvo as a first-pass review before escalating to counsel.

Warnvo is not a HIPAA-covered entity — we're a consumer software service, not a healthcare provider. If you forward a medical bill, we treat it with the same encryption and access controls as any other document. For Pro Business customers handling client PHI at volume, we offer a Business Associate Agreement on request.

Pro Business.

Three questions

Professionals who review client documents at volume: tax preparers, medical billing advocates, insurance adjusters, attorneys, CPAs, HR teams, property managers, real estate agents, and consumer protection consultants. Pro Business adds client folders, bulk upload, white-label letter templates, and unlimited ReplyShield™.

Pro Business includes white-label letter templates — your firm's letterhead, your return address, your signature block on every response. A full white-label client portal is in beta for Pro Business — contact us if you want early access.

For firms with 10+ seats, yes. Reach out through Contact and we'll build a quote. For firms with hundreds of seats or custom integration needs, we have an enterprise tier that includes dedicated support, custom agent training, and API access.
